Someone always get hurt and the never catch rats. So when you need a laugh, reach for a rat trap.
Imaging the town jerk running around screaming right after you hear a snap. Cut to scene with the jerk running in circles trying to shake off the rat trap.
Wait, was that in a Jerry Lewis movie?
Anyway, we have them, they can be funny or menacing in a horror movie tied to the floor with a couple severed fingers and some fake blood.
