+Why should I use Mr Dog Poop Studios?
What you see is what you get! You can watch any of the hundreds of videos that we have done, many achieving a million views on social media in just a few weeks. Compare our videos with our boring dry competitors that think plopping your ass in a chair and firing up their expensive camera to record some monotone headache inducing description of your business is a good use of your money.
+Why is the name of the company "Mr Dog Poop"?
Mr Dog Poop built a huge national brand providing DNA lab analysis and genotyping dog poop for commercial customers. When covid disrupted the world it changed the market and left the company looking for new revenue streams. Videography and films was a passion of Mr Dog Poop so he continued the company name in a new direction providing video production services.
+Some of your Mr Dog Poop Unleashed videos are offensive, will my videos be like that?
What part about the name "Mr Dog Poop Unleashed" made you think we were making videos about princesses and faeries?
Of course we don't have to be offensive, we can make squeaky clean, child friendly content if that is your goal.
For us, we found a strong following in social media that likes coarse and manly man videos. So that is what we have created for ourselves.
Social media needs to be edgy, different than the norm on broadcast television, so unless you are marketing to children, you might want a little humor that makes adults laugh.
+Do you rent out props?
Yes. We allow our props to be used on site or in productions that we are participating. While our business is not primarily rentals, we will rent out props for outside productions. If you need something from our props department, just ask, make an offer and we can discuss it. But we do not have a price list because renting props is not part of our business model or daily routine. But with one of the largest inventories of vintage props and costumes, many local stage, film companies and even schools do shop our inventory for unique items.
+Do you rent equipment for outside productions?
Yes and No. We do rent some of our more durable equipment, such as dollies, jibs, stands, grip gear, lighting, flags and floppys, rigging and props. We do not rent our primary gear such as cameras lenses and audio. We do not have a grip truck rental, so we primarily rent to smaller clients looking for gear for a one or two day shoot.
+Can I bring my video crew to your studio and use the space and props?
Yes, we will rent space by the day, create custom sets for your production or set up one of the sets that we already have.
+Can you edit the video I already have and make it better?
Possibly. We do use a lot of embellishments, b-roll and graphics in our videos and we can certainly add those types of elements to your existing video. But of course, we can only work with what you have, if the video quality is bad, the lighting was bad, there is only so much you can do in editing.
+Can you film our video at our office?
We try to avoid any offsite filming because of the extra cost. Transporting gear and setting it up, is a huge expense and our pricing is based on filming at our studio. We do however often film b-roll and take photos of locations as part of creating the entire video. It is almost always cheaper for talent to come to our studio than to break down all of our equipment, haul it to your location, set it up, film then break it all down again and transport it back to the studio and set it up again.
+When you finish the video, how many edits can I request?
Typical video production companies will present you will a finished product and allow you to request one edit with changes that you want. That is not how we operate. We bring you in for the editing and complete the video along with you so we have exactly what you want on the first try. Directors and producers typically work with the editor in real time to edit films. It is more efficient and the client has 100% input on the final product.
