Certainly not when you have several real shovels in stock that look real because they are!

Simple, for a distant shot of someone hitting someone else over the head or some action just as sinister when you really cannot use a real shovel.

This can be painted to match colors or used as is if you don't need a close up shot with a real shovel.

Maybe the heroine escapes the hold of the cannibal king and uses the shovel to take out the cannibal sentry guarding the food supply. There is always room for a garden shovel strike in any horror film or video. Why not use it in your next YouTube video?
