Simple!
Everything is a prop. Weather you have a toaster, a chair or a golf ball, they can all be used as props and if the video calls for a toaster and you don't have one, you have to buy one or change the script.
Not everyone has a huge set of bolt cutters laying around to have a character cut a chain to gain entry into the impound yard, so you can rent them or do something different for the shot.
But Mr Dog Poop has been acquiring items for decades, tools, science equipment, machinery, home furnishings and many unique items that would not normally be part of a prop rental house. But Mr Dog Poop recognizes that to make a good production, it is the details that matter.
In most cases production teams look for a location that will provide everything they need. But what if you need a jack hammer to be filmed on a green screen? Do you go to Home Depot and rent one for $150 plus a day of someone's time to get it and return it? In most cases, those tools are so beat up you can't even recognize what they are.
But Mr Dog Poop Studios can give you a jack hammer to use, what size? We have several in our maintenance department, a department that most small studios do not have.
What if you need a science lab?
No problem, Mr Dog Poop ran a DNA lab for a decade and has a warehouse load of lab equipment that is available for use.
What about a trailer to put a car on with crew for a driving scene, we have it. In fact we have multiple trailers of different sizes for different purposes.
Forklift for a scene loading a truck? We have it.
Military Truck, we have it.
A drone for overhead shots, we have it.
Crane to lift objects off the ground for floating or flying shots? We have it.
Office supplies, desks, chairs etc, we have them.

Mr Dog Poop has been running business for decades and has personally accumulated a wealth of items that can all be used as props.
We even make our own props and once we do, we keep them in stock in case they can be used again. The photo below is a few Before and After Tools. There are new and damaged for showing the destruction of tools by a character. Originally used in Mr Dog Poop Unleashed video "How to Defrost a Freezer" they are now logged and stored for anyone else to use.
The fact that we make our own videos is the real key. We realize how much we can do with the right props and not having props is really a pain and severely limits what you can create.
So we are indexing all of our stuff from lawn tractors to dished. Everything that is idle and not being used so that young and aspiring film makers can build stories about the tools and supplies we have.
For most people, making a video in a science lab is just going to be cost prohibitive, if you can even find one that will let you film in it. But Mr Dog Poop Studios has a fully functional lab, with current equipment and some vintage lad props as well that is available for use for less than renting one tool from Home Depot.
We believe that making these types of resources available to the film making community in Tampa will make our studio a destination that just makes sense.
Film makers tend to work around what they have, but many live in apartments and beyond their camera equipment and xbox they don't have much to work with without a huge budget. But we hope to change that by making our facility and resources available and affordable so that low budget film makers can continue to make great content.
